At MotionLab

At MotionLab, we provide veterinary physiotherapy and underwater treadmill hydrotherapy within our purpose-designed clinic in Cirencester in the heart of the Cotswolds.

We understand that recovery can be an emotional and sometimes stressful time — whether your pet is recovering from surgery, managing a long-term condition, or adapting to age-related changes. Our calm, patient-led approach focuses not only on physical rehabilitation, but also on confidence, comfort, and long-term wellbeing.

Every treatment programme is tailored to the individual animal and their owner. We consider your dog or cat’s temperament, condition, goals, home environment, and lifestyle to ensure rehabilitation is realistic, effective, and supportive for both of you.

Owners play a vital role in successful rehabilitation. We encourage your involvement during sessions where appropriate and provide clear home advice and tailored exercise programmes to support ongoing progress outside the clinic.

Physiotherapy

Veterinary physiotherapy uses a range of hands-on and exercise-based techniques to support your dog’s whole-body health, rehabilitation, and performance.

We assess your dog in a calm clinical environment to identify the cause of lameness, stiffness, or discomfort and tailor treatment accordingly.

Underwater Treadmill Hydrotherapy

Veterinary
Physiotherapy

Hydrotherapy is treatment carried out in water using an underwater treadmill.

The buoyancy of water reduces joint loading, while water resistance supports muscle strengthening, balance, and controlled movement. Each session is individually tailored, with water depth, speed, and duration adjusted to suit your dog’s condition, confidence, and rehabilitation goals.
